WHY COUPLES CHOOSE THE STELLARBANT
A celebrant plays a bigger role than most people realise. It’s not just about standing up and reading words. It’s about guiding one of the biggest moments of your day with confidence, care and experience.
You can learn plenty from a website or social media, but you only really get a feel for someone once you sit down and have a conversation. That’s often when couples realise what makes the difference.
If you’re short on time, the short version is this: I bring experience, calm and clarity to a part of the day that can otherwise feel overwhelming.
EXperience that brings peace of mind
Having officiated more than 750 legally binding ceremonies, I’ve seen just about every version of a wedding day. What couples often tell me after we meet is that they feel reassured. Everything is handled, nothing has been overlooked, and they don’t have to spend the lead-up wondering what might go wrong.
No detail is left to chance, but that doesn’t mean your ceremony should feel rigid. My role is to know the plan, anticipate the problems, and make sure everything runs smoothly enough that you barely notice any of it happening.

CEREMONIES THAT FEEL PERSONAL,
NOT PERFORMATIVE
No two couples are the same, and no ceremony should feel generic. From the very first conversation, my focus is on understanding who you are, how you connect and what actually feels like you.
Part of my job is to fast-track that relationship. I want to understand the in-jokes, the little quirks, the people and stories that matter, and the way you actually speak to each other. By the time the wedding comes around, we’re not strangers. We’re speaking the same language.
My process is intentional and collaborative. The questions I ask aren’t generic. They’re designed to draw out the details that make your relationship yours and help shape a ceremony that feels personal without becoming performative. You remain in control of the tone, content and feel of your ceremony. My job is to take everything you give me and bring it together in a way that feels effortless, genuine and recognisably you.
EXPERIENCE MATTERS MORE THAN PRICE
I’m not the cheapest celebrant available, and that’s a conscious choice. What you’re investing in is experience, judgement, the ability to read a room, manage emotions, handle pressure and adapt when plans shift, because they usually do. Timelines change. Weather turns. Nerves kick in. Family dynamics make themselves known. Someone forgets something. Weddings don’t always follow the script.
My role is to stay across all of it, guide the moment, and make sure everything feels calm and under control without ever making myself the centre of attention. When couples book me, they’re not just booking words. They’re booking reassurance, presence and someone who knows how to carry the weight of the moment.

WHAT GOES INTO A CEREMONY
A wedding ceremony might only last 20–30 minutes, but the work behind it begins long before the day itself. From the first conversation through to the final signing of paperwork, a single ceremony typically involves 25+ hours of preparation, planning, writing, communication, and coordination.
That includes:
-
Initial consultations and follow-up conversations
-
Learning your story and understanding your dynamic as a couple
-
Writing and refining a personalised ceremony script
-
Guiding you through vows and structure
-
Managing legal documentation and lodgement
-
Coordinating ceremony flow and logistics
-
Rehearsals where required
-
Travel, setup, delivery, and follow-up
What couples are really investing in is not just the ceremony they see, but the experience, preparation, and confidence that comes with knowing everything is handled properly. A well-run ceremony feels effortless. That ease comes from experience, preparation, and care behind the scenes.
I’m always happy to meet in whatever way feels easiest for you, whether that’s in person, over a coffee, or via Zoom.
My office is available for meetings, and I’m also flexible with after-hours chats if that suits your schedule better.
