WHAT SETS ME APART
A celebrant plays a bigger role than most people realise. It’s not just about standing up and reading words, it’s about guiding one of the most important moments of your life with confidence, care, and experience. You can learn a lot from a website or social media, but you only really understand someone once you sit down and talk with them. That’s often when couples realise what makes the difference.
If you’re short on time, the short version is this: I bring experience, calm and clarity to a part of the day that often feels overwhelming.
EXperience that brings peace of mind
Having officiated over 700 legally binding ceremonies, I bring a level of experience that can’t be replicated through templates or scripts.
What couples often tell me after meeting is that they feel calm, reassured that everything is handled, nothing has been overlooked
and they don’t need to worry about what might go wrong.
The cheapest celebrant isn’t always the right one. What matters is working with someone who is invested in your ceremony and understands how to manage both the planned moments and the unexpected ones. No detail is left to chance. No scenario goes unexplored. My role is to ensure everything runs smoothly so you can be fully present and enjoy the moment.

CEREMONIES THAT FEEL PERSONAL,
NOT PERFORMATIVE
No two couples are the same, and no ceremony should feel generic. From the very first conversation, my focus is on understanding who you are, how you connect, and what feels authentic to you. I take the time to build real rapport, so by the time your wedding day arrives, we’re not strangers.
My process is intentional and collaborative. The questions I ask aren’t generic, they’re designed to help shape a ceremony that feels natural, personal and true to you. You remain in control of the tone, content, and feel of your ceremony. My job is to bring it together in a way that feels effortless and genuine.
EXPERIENCE MATTERS MORE THAN PRICE
I’m not the cheapest celebrant available, and that’s a conscious choice. What couples are investing in is experience, the ability to read a room, manage emotions, handle pressure, and adapt when plans shift (because they always do). Weddings don’t run on scripts. Timelines change. Weather turns. Nerves show up. Family dynamics come into play. My role is to hold the space, guide the moment, and make sure everything feels calm and under control without ever drawing attention to myself.
When couples book me, they’re not just booking words. They’re booking reassurance, presence, and someone who knows how to carry the weight of the moment.

WHAT GOES INTO A CEREMONY
A wedding ceremony might only last 20–30 minutes, but the work behind it begins long before the day itself. From the first conversation through to the final signing of paperwork, a single ceremony typically involves 25+ hours of preparation, planning, writing, communication, and coordination.
That includes:
-
Initial consultations and follow-up conversations
-
Learning your story and understanding your dynamic as a couple
-
Writing and refining a personalised ceremony script
-
Guiding you through vows and structure
-
Managing legal documentation and lodgement
-
Coordinating ceremony flow and logistics
-
Rehearsals where required
-
Travel, setup, delivery, and follow-up
What couples are really investing in is not just the ceremony they see, but the experience, preparation, and confidence that comes with knowing everything is handled properly. A well-run ceremony feels effortless. That ease comes from experience, preparation, and care behind the scenes.
What a celebrant offers that a never can
ai can generate text. It can even write a ceremony.
What it can’t do is:
• read a room
• adjust tone in the moment
• respond to emotion
• create connection
• lead a live moment with confidence
A great ceremony doesn’t happen by accident. It’s shaped through experience, intuition, and genuine human connection.
That’s something no algorithm can replace.
I’m always happy to meet in whatever way feels easiest for you, whether that’s in person, over a coffee, or via Zoom.
My office is available for meetings, and I’m also flexible with after-hours chats if that suits your schedule better.
